Chocolate Cake

2 Eggs

1 Cup Applesauce

1/2 Cup Coconut Oil

3/4 Cup Maple Syrup, Coconut Sugar, or Monk Fruit Sugar

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 Cup Cocoa or Carob (or combination of both)

1 2/3 Cup Flour (I use a combination of almond flour and whole grain Spelt)

1 tsp Baking Powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

 

Mix ingredients and put into an 8" or 9" greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 35-40 minutes.

 

**You can use this same recipe to make Applesauce cake by omitting the cocoa and add 1 tsp Vanilla, 1 Cup Raisins, 1/2 Cup Walnuts, and 1 Cinnamon.
